Brickbox Surveys is located in Horley, Surrey and was established by Gez Parks in January 2014. We provide a professional yet personal service for our clients aiming to inform and reassure them with clear advice offering real value for money.
I qualified as a surveyor and energy assessor in 2007 when gaining a diploma with SAVA (Surveyors and Valuers Accreditation scheme) to qualify as a Home Inspector for the implementation of the Governments Home Information Pack (HIPs). Having enjoyed a long and varied career in estate agency I left to start my own firm following my passion for surveying.
I have an extensive working knowledge of the local and surrounding areas having been based in Dorking, Reigate, Oxted and Horley over many years. I am experienced with many types of residential property ranging from small flats to large houses, in town and rural areas, from new and old with modern and traditional methods of construction.
I produce Home Condition Surveys, a ground breaking report format, developed by SAVA. SAVA, who are leaders in the surveying industry, provide ongoing continuous professional development and a training pathway recognised for entry into the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
In addition to Home Condition Surveys I also provide Energy Performance Certificates, floorplans and professional photography for marketing purposes of residential properties. I have over 20 years previous experience working with one of the area’s leading estate agents which has given me the experience necessary to create affordable one-stop solutions for all your property marketing needs.
I am a member of the RPSA (Residential Property Surveyors Association) who represent independent surveyors, like myself, and are focused on raising standards in the residential surveying industry. I am also a member of Elmhurst Energy who are the UK’s largest accreditation scheme for energy assessors and provide first class training.
During a Home Condition Survey I carry out a thorough inspection of your chosen property, delivering a detailed report, to provide you with a comprehensive and clear assessment of your desired home. I am also available to answer your questions and give you further advice.
